Terror Plot To Destroy Eiffel Tower Uncovered

The world’s most visited monument and a global icon of France is the Eiffel tower. A plot by the Islamic terrorists to destroy the iron tower has been uncovered through a short-wave radio conversation. It was picked up by the Portuguese air traffic controllers which were later passed on to the French spy chiefs. There are about six million visitors a year and an average could be around 16,000 visitors a day. If a bomb blows up the tower then there could also be a massive loss of life as the number of people who visit this monument is high. A source said that the security at the tower was already tight and now it’s being stepped up.
