Deforestation

Forests are the most important part of the global ecological system. Over the years, modern development has resulted in felling of trees for agriculture, human settlements etc.The rapid depletion of forest lands has affected ecological balance and resulted in change in climatic conditions. Deforestation also has resulted in loss of habitat of many wild species.
